About Founder

JERUDS founder R. Sundararajaperumal was born in the ancient and historic village of Keezhadi in the culturally rich Madurai district and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University.He has a keen interest in social service and started working as a social worker at the age of 34.

“We need to create a situation where there are no mentally ill or hungry people. I have to play my part in that. Let’s educate, empower and uplift our women – because when she thrives, the world thrives.”– Sundararajaperumal.R

The Objectives of the Trust's

JERUDS TRUST(Jamuna Educational Rural and Urban Development Society) is a charity and NGO focused on this.

Providing education, food, and rehabilitation for the underprivileged, including the disabled, destitute, and orphans. Empowering women and young girls with awareness of their rights. Supporting disadvantaged senior citizens with groceries.

Promoting education, health awareness, and socio-economic rights in rural areas. Encouraging scientific temper and IT adoption at the grassroots level. Conducting impact studies, workshops, and campaigns on education, health, legal issues, and women and child development.

Promoting unity, religious harmony, and adult education. Creating employment opportunities for the differently
